It's been real busy lately. I been working nearly 7 days straight since I started my new job as a security officer, right now I am working guarding the gates of one of our gas fields here in Greensboro on West Market St. from 5pm to 5am. Someone mowed down the fence and I have to make sure no civilian cars or pedestrians go through the gate. It's pretty easy work, I get to sit in my car for 12 hours by the main gate and play candy crush or I read on my kindle or watch viki on it, until the old man boss comes in at 5am.

Also finally getting my divorce from the asshole whom I stupidly married, if anyone gives a flying.

Well... looks like I will be on a lot less. I started a new job Friday as an armed security guard and yesterday they sent my son and I - yes my son is also a security guard at the same company - to Greenville, S.C. for a week on a special case assignment that was last minute. We were in the middle of training exercises and since we were the two in the office recertifying for CPR, we got to be the two sent. So here I am sitting in the hotel room, chilling for a bit because my son has the first part of the shift, and I take the second shift.

My son is an unarmed guard because in N.C., you have to be 23 to be an armed guard, and he is only 18. I actually enjoy my new job. My favorite part of the job is the laser firing range. It is a simulated range, but the guns and everything we use have the same kick and recoils as the live rounds.

Boss called me in, wanted me to fire off some rounds on quick draw, lol. First shot was dead center to the head, and next 15 rounds went dead center chest. I was reloading, and he said, "Enough! I've seen all I need to." Other Boss was sitting there nodding his head. My son, and friend who is my supervisor and who got me and son hired were sitting there with their mouths hanging open, which I thought was hilarious. I hear my son tell him "I am so not pissing mom off ever again." I smirked, and sat the gun down on the table and went to sit down.

My bosses and supervisor are all named John, so I call them The John Hordes, lol. Yes, that is a movie reference from the 80's. Y'all might remember a 1982 movie with Marc Singer, Tanya Roberts, Rip Torn, and John Amos called The Beastmaster. So, if you've seen the movie, you'll know what the Johns are, lol. I call them that cause all three of the Bosses are pretty bad ass. One of my bosses is 72 years old. He's worked FBI, CIA, and all kinds of security work around the world for many many years. He is a master of several martial arts and self defence, and for a 72 year old man he is so fast my son never saw his hands move when he told my son he had to learn to be fast and had him hold his hands up and told him stop his hands. I only saw a blur and I am pretty damn quick but I will tell ya, I sure as hell wouldn't fuck with that man and I can hold my own. Nuh uh.

Ok so the Evil One has returned from her totally awesome trip to New York. I hada blast. I got to spend lots of time with my Rachy, and met AtYourWindow - who by the way is totally cool as hell - and seriously freaking smart. Disregard anything you think you know of him cause odds are its not true - so lay those old rumors to rest y'all.

I also stopped in Lewisburg, P.A. on the way and met Cat. Also totally unlike everything thinks. She is pretty cool, and yes, me and Rachy got pics. We will be posting those later on. Rachy might not be here for a few days more, she is recuperating from the trip. She caught a cold and already was in a lot of pain cause she tore her Achilles tendon before we left and her foot looked pretty heinous yesterday before I left to come home. I gave her a hug before I left and am determined to go back soon and see her and ATW and the kiddos soon since they aren't as far as I would have thought. I miss her already, lol.

Rachy is everything I thought she would be. She is extremely patient, kind and loving. I have never met anyone with the patience of Job, but she has it, lol. She also has a temper when pushed too far, and often holds her tongue when she should say something and doesn't. She cares about people and you can see it written on her face. If you are one of the people she considers hers, then know she really cares and is loyal to the end. If her bullshit meter about something goes off, then you'd better listen because she is usually dead on right. That woman has the most beautiful soul I have ever seen. And y'all should see those cats ofhers. They are so adorable. SHe has a Russian Blue named Booboo who decided while I was there that I belonged to her. She got in my lap and that is pretty much where she stayed until I left. If I moved, she moved with me. After a few meows of complaints that I made her move, lol. She's old, but so lovable. You can tell what a person is like by their pet's personality, and you just know Rach gives them all lots of love and care. She has Cajome and Panda who are spoiled rotten too. OMG y'all would never believe how huge those two cats are.

I also met her parents and AYW's mom. His mom is also something else. She is wonderful. I loved her instantly. She found out I like dragons and gave me a dragon necklace with jade that she made, and a cool dragon bracelet. We all got presents from her while we were there. The minute I met her though, I kept thinking I knew her from somewhere. Then it hit me...Y'all remember the movie Sister Act with Whoopi? The actress who was the tall older nun who says she likes those pioneer nuns? That's who she looks like. I met a lot of new friends while I was up in New York. Someday, I would love to go back again.

After I left, I knew it was going to be a hard drive home, and I was right. The GPS took me home a different way for some reason than I came, but it was over an hour quicker. I came in through 40 to 52, 74, 77 and through Bristol, Tenn. where the racetrack is. I left going up through the Cherokee National Forest and up through Boone. But....ran right into a detour that took me over 40 miles out of the way. They had a rock slide that pretty much blocked the entire road. When you see those signs "Watch for Fallen Rocks" you had better pay attention. Those signs are posted every half a mile. Beautiful scenery though. I had seen it before, but it was like seeing it again for the first time.
